Welcome to Upside-Down Christian

My basic thesis is this: to be a Christian requires one to think and act differently than today’s culture. To be a Christian is to live Upside-Down.

This blog primarily follows two themes of Scripture: Kingdom, and Heart. All topics inter-relating to one another, “The Wall” examines the various “bricks” of Christian doctrine – it’s my conviction that we’re all wrong on something!

A categorized archive of all posts can be found below, and reading each section’s dedicated introductory post is the best place to start.

Upside-Down Kingdom

Our future government isn’t a democracy; this section explores how Scripture describes the order and expectations of King Jesus’ reign.

Upside-Down Heart

What does it mean to commit your allegiance to the King? This section explores what Scripture says about our posture towards God and neighbor.

Examining The Wall

Considering the de(re)construction of our walls of faith, each “brick” represents a piece of Christian doctrine. Testing each brick against the truth of Scripture, let’s toss aside any cracked bricks we find and re-affirm our confidence in each solid one.

I can’t promise satisfactory answers, but I will offer my honest thoughts.
